ARLINGTON, TEXAS—Manny Pacquiao’s mother Dionisia suffered an apparent panic attack during her son’s title fight against Antonio Margarito Saturday, promoter Bob Arum said. Dionesia was among Pacquiao’s supporters sitting at ringside for the world title fight at Cowboys Stadium. Pacquiao said at the post-fight news conference that he had been told his mom was feeling better. “She’s OK now,” Pacquiao said. Trainer Freddie Roach said Dionisia rarely watches Manny fight and both times she has ended up in hospital. “It is her second time at ringside and her second time in the hospital,” Roach said. “She had an anxiety attack during the fight but she is perfectly fine now, no problem,” Arum said. Dionisia said she had an attack of nerves when she saw her son was hurt after getting hit by Margarito. AFP
