MANILA, Philippines – Seeking versatility in its frontcourt, Petron Blaze added Doug Kramer into its new-look roster.
Kramer, a reliable inside scorer with a touch from the mid-range, was acquired by the Boosters from the Barako Bull Energy Cola in exchange for veteran center Dorian Peña.
Barako Bull also gained a 2013 second round pick from Petron, which underwent a coaching change with Gee Abanilla replacing Olsen Racela.
This marked Petron’s second off-season move involving its players after it also parted ways with long-time forward Jay Washington.
Washington was sent to GlobalPort for young power forward Jason Deutchman and a 2016 and 2017 second round picks in a four-team deal approved last June.
