MANILA, Philippines – Shakey’s V-League decided to reset its Tuesday’s tripleheader to a later date as typhoon “Maring” continued to linger in the Philippines.
The league postponed the Army’s debut against Far Eastern University at 2 p.m., the 4 p.m. meeting between Navy and Cagayan, and the anticipated Meralco-Airforce clash at 6 p.m at the Arena in San Juan.
It was only the second playdate of the new conference, which opened last Sunday.
“Due to very bad weather conditions, we are cancelling the Shakey’s V-League games scheduled for today. Re-setting of the games will be announced,” said Shakey’s V-League executive Moying Martelino.
