Much as he would love his team to put away teams early on, Letran coach Caloy Garcia doesn’t mind his Knights getting pushed to the limit as long as they are up to the challenge down the stretch.
The pacesetting Knights expect another dogfight at 6 p.m. today when they battle the dangerous Lyceum Pirates in the 89th NCAA basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
“I’m not worried as long as we’re winning,” said Garcia, referring to the Knights’ tight victories, including a 77-70 win over Mapua to start the second round last Saturday.
