FEU downs Adamson, back in UAAP Final 4

MANILA, Philippines — Far Eastern University is back in the final four, made official by a 92-80 victory over Adamson Saturday in the UAAP season 76 men’s basketball tournament.

Terrence Romeo forged a new career-high in the collegiate level with 32 points to lift the Tamaraws to the needed ninth victory — which came as a struggle in the second round.

Mark Belo, one of most improved players for this season, chipped in 18 points and nine rebounds, while RR Garcia added 14 points, four rebounds, six assists and two steals for FEU.

The Falcons, meanwhile, are officially out of contention — for the second straight year — as they fell to a  4-9 card, good for seventh place.

Don Trollano had a career game with 25 points built on three triples, but that still wasn’t enough to help get Adamson another win.
