MANILA, Philippines — Far Eastern University assured itself of at least a playoff for the twice-to-beat edge after blasting University of the Philippines, 87-69, Wednesday in the UAAP season 76 men’s basketball tournament.
Terrence Romeo scored a new college career-high with 33 points for the Tamaraws, who could clinch one of the top two slots if National University drops its game later against Ateneo.
The Maroons, meanwhile, continued their slide for a 0-13 card.
