NCAA: EAC defeats Lyceum to enhance final four chances

MANILA, Philippines — Emilio Aguinaldo College enhanced its final four chance after defeating Lyceum, 71-63, Thursday in the NCAA season 89 men’s basketball tournament.

Jose Morada led the Generals with 21 points, six rebounds and five steals. Jolas Paguia added 18 points, and Noube Happi with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

EAC improved to 7-7 and just a game and half behind fourth-running San Sebastian with still four games left to play in the elimination round.

The Pirates, meanwhile, dropped to 4-10.
