Amit joins Team Asia in Queen’s Cup pool
RUBILEN Amit, the Filipino former world women’s 10-ball champion, has been selected to play for Team Asia in the Queen’s Cup where she joins Korean great Ga Young-kim in battling the best in the globe in a Ryder Cup-style event.
The pint-sized Amit, also a multiple gold medal winner in the Southeast Asian Games, joins Kim in the Nov. 5 to 7 event that will be held at Resorts World Manila.
Team Asia will be ranged against the likes of former world No. 1 Jasmine Ouschan of Austria and the United Kingdom’s Kelly Fisher, who will skipper Team West.

The event is being organized by Dragon Promotions and will use the Korean brand Min Tables.
Style of play for the event will include singles, doubles, triples and 4-on-4, which will be used to break decide matches that would go hill-hill. All games will be race-to-10 affairs.
