CAGAYAN Province sustained its amazing winning streak by bringing down another title contender in Smart-Maynilad in an epic five-setter last night in the Shakey’s V League Season 10 Open Conference at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Pushed to the limit by the game Net Spikers, the Lady Rising Suns rose to the challenge and came away with a pulsating 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-13 victory before a huge Sunday crowd.

National team stalwarts Aiza Maizo and Angeli Tabaquero combined for the last two points that sealed the victory and extended the Lady Rising Suns’ winning run to 10 matches.
