‘Peace’ fight card slated

THE “FIGHT for Peace” event presented by Club S gets going at Resorts World Manila’s Newport Performing Arts Theater on Oct. 23.

Three-time world kickboxing champion TJ Arcangel of World Team USA stakes his 16-1 record against WLF champion Liu Xiangmin of China in the main bout of a 12-fight card promoted by World Team USA in partnership with WulinFeng of China and Sports5.

“We want to do our bit to help promote peace between China and the Philippines,” said promoter Tony Reyes. “So Chinese and Filipino warriors will battle fighters from other countries.”

Submission expert Eugene Toquero and muay specialist Agustin Delarmino Jr. will wave the flag for the Philippines. Toquero fights Dennis Salazar of World Team USA while Delarmino faces Jin Wenhao.
