NBA Commissioner Stern in Manila for the NBA Global Games

MANILA, Philippines — NBA Commissioner David Stern will be at the Mall of Asia Arena for the 2013 NBA Global Games here.

Stern arrived here Thursday and will address the media in a press conference later this afternoon hours before the preseason game between the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers tips off at 7:30 p.m.

Stern is set to step down next year after a 30-year tenure in the league with Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver taking over his post.
