CANLUBANG, Laguna—Korean expat Park Ming-ung carded a one-under-par 71 on Friday to complete a final-round comeback and win the 14th Canlubang-Petron Amateur Open at the South course here.

The teener out of Riviera in Cavite made the most out of Rupert Zaragosa’s collapse, parring the final four holes while Zaragosa was four over on the same stretch to finish with a 76.

Counting rounds of 68 and 74, Ung tallied 211 over the up-and-down layout that Zaragosa calls home and will lead 15 other bets into the National Golf Association of the Philippines  Match Play championship starting tomorrow.
