MANILA, Philippines – Graduating University of Santo Tomas skipper Jeric Teng is still undecided on his future plans.
Teng, who led the Growling Tigers to back-to-back Finals appearances, had already played the last game of his celebrated collegiate career in the UAAP last Saturday.
“Actually, I don’t know yet. I have to talk with my family and manager. We’ll see. We’ll talk about if I’ll enter the draft or not. I’m already eligible to join because I’ve already played in the D-League for several times,” shared Teng, who saved his best for last after averaging 23 points per game in the Finals as UST came just seconds away from a championship and history against his younger brother Jeron and De La Salle.
Alvin Teng, the proud father of the two UAAP stars, too is still unsure of Jeric’s next step as of this time.
“Sa ngayon siguro pag-iisipan pa namin sa family namin kung anong plano,” echoed the PBA legend, who also added that the draft, scheduled on November 3, is one option.
The 22-year-old guard Teng and his family only have a few days left to make up their minds with the deadline for submission of application for the draft is on October 18.
