Coach Tom Thibodeau says he expects the former MVP to suit up for Wednesday’s preseason game against Detroit, his first appearance at the United Center since he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the 2012 playoff opener.

Rose, who played preseason games at Indiana and against Memphis in St. Louis, missed last season with the injury. He sat out Saturday’s game against Washington in Rio de Janeiro because of soreness.
