NCAA: Lyceum defeats Mapua

MANILA, Philippines—Lyceum rallied in the second half to defeat Mapua, 78-69, Thursday in the NCAA season 89 men’s basketball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

Wilzon Baltazar had 18 points, Mark Francisco added 13 points for the Pirates, who are already out of the running but are hoping to wrap up their campaign on a high note.

Lyceum improved to 7-10 while the Cardinals, after a huge victory over San Beda, dropped to 2-15.

Kenneth Ighalo led Mapua with 17 points and nine boards in a losing effort while Mark Braña had 16 markers.
