MANILA, Philippines — Chris Ross’ stint in Globalport and reunion with good pal Sol Mercado proved to be shortlived.

Ross, barely a month after getting traded from Meralco to Globalport, was shipped anew to Petron after the PBA Commissioner’s Office approved the trade Wednesday.

In exchange for Ross, the Batang Pier acquired the Boosters’ back-up guard Denok Miranda, who saw limited action in the PBA Governors’ Cup finals.

The new PBA season, kicking off with the All-Filipino Cup, opens on November 17.
