GlobalPort acquires Barako Bull’s Villanueva for Miller and Thiele

MANILA, Philippines – GlobalPort continued to add pieces to its roster as it prepares for the coming 39th PBA Philippine Cup.

The Batang Pier, who selected Terrence Romeo, RR Garcia, Isaac Holstein and Nico Salva in last night’s Rookie Draft, parted ways with veteran guard Willie Miller and Hans Thiele in exchange for Barako Bull big man Enrico Villanueva.

The PBA approved the three-player trade Monday.
