Aguilar halts Mangosong win streak
VETERAN Glenn Aguilar recovered from a disastrous first heat to stop Mindanao ace Bornock Mangosong’s domination in the Pro Open Production of the 4th and penultimate leg of the 2013 Phoenix Motocross Series last Sunday at MX Messiah Fairgrounds, Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal.
Aguilar led for most of the first heat but suffered a spill in the 15th and final lap which allowed Mangosong to snatch first place.
Keeping his composure, Aguilar came back in the afternoon to beat Mangosong with a display of aggressive and precision driving in the series sponsored by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. and organized by Extreme Adrenalin Sports Entertainment.

“I gave it my all,” said Mangosong. “Now, I need to prepare hard for the final leg because Glenn and the other riders are going all-out.”
