UFL round of 16 action gets television coverage

THE THRILLING round of 16 action of the United Football League will be televised from Emperador Stadium in Taguig starting Nov. 12.

With top tier squads Stallion FC, Global FC, Loyola Meralco and Kaya FC leading the teams to the knockout stages, the league gets TV coverage that will beam action in two matches every Tuesday and Thursday over AksyonTV.

TV5 top official Vito Lazatin said the UFL will continue to bring out the best football talents in the country. He led the presser on Friday in Quezon City announcing the UFL knockout stages that will also feature guest teams Cebu Queen City United, Manila Jeepney FC and General Trias International.

Also seeing action are Ceres-La Salle, Green Archers United and Pachanga Diliman, Union Internacional Manila, Forza, Philippine Air Force, Navy FC, Agila and Cimmaron.

All matches will be aired nationwide on free TV via AksyonTV 41 (on UHF free TV Channel 41 in Metro Manila Channel 29 in Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, on cable channel 59 on SkyCable, Channel 78 on Destiny and Channel 1 on Cignal Digital TV.
