Hog’s Breath upsets Cagayan Valley in PBA D-League

MANILA, Philippines – Hog’s Breath Café pulled off an upset and snapped Cagayan Valley’s four-game winning streak with a come-from-behind 82-78 win in the 2013 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup.

The Razorbacks played catch up for most part of the second half but persevered and turned the game around with a crippling 19-2 blast in the last five minutes.

Hog’s Breath Cafe, which had a dismal showing in its opening season in the PBA D-League, stayed unscathed early this conference, buoyed by a retooled line-up.

Philip Paniamogan scored 18, and Paul Sanga added 16 points for the Razorbacks, with the former Far Eastern University start knocking down a go ahead 3-pointer with two minutes left to play.

Don Trollano scored 16 points and Jason Melano had 15 for the Rising Suns, who lost grip of a 76-63 lead midway the payoff period.
