PCC Big Event derby on

One-On-One showdowns featuring Metro Manila’s top cockers sizzle anew today in the Pasay Big Event 6-Cock Derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 at Pasay City Cockpi.

Heading the list of favorites are JR Tolentino, Art Atayde and Gerry Teves, winners of Roligon’s 10-Stag Derby last Tuesday, and Tony Lasala, who topped the 480-entry “Barkadahan” National 7-Stag Derby last month.

Local cockfight’s “Idol” Rep. Patrick Antonio, Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano are hosting the 90-fight program.

Meanwhile, PCC will also stage the “Digmaan” 9-Stag Derby on Monday with Wilson Ong of the Philippine Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (PFGB) as host.

Ricoy Palmares Jr., president of the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (NFGB) will spearhead the National “Bakbakan” 11-Stag Derby on Friday, Nov. 22.
