Army, Cagayan clash for PSL lead

Early winners Cagayan and TMS-Army mix it up for the top spot in the Philippine Super Liga Volleyball Grand Prix today at Filoil Flying V Arena.

The early clash of the title favorites is set at 2 p.m. with the defending champion Lady Troopers slightly favored over the Lady Rising Suns, fourth placers in the Invitationals.

Cignal and Petron collide in the other women’s match at 4 p.m., while Maybank and Systema tangle in a  men’s encounter at 6 p.m.

“We are still trying to adjust to each other’s game,” said Army coach Rico de Guzman, referring miscommunications between  imports Yuki Murakoshi of Japan and Wanitchaya Luangtonglang of Thailand and his local stars.
