Sanga, Rios lead balanced Hog’s Breath attack in win over Wangs

MANILA, Philippines – Hog’s Breath Cafe had six players carrying much of the offensive load as it cruised past Wangs Basketball 109-93 in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Former Far Eastern U swingman Paul Sanga and Jansen Rios led the way with 17 points apiece for the Razorbacks, who logged their third straight win in as many games.

“We shot the ball well and we were able to run,” said Hog’s Breath coach Caloy Garcia.

Letran’s Kevin Racal scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds while Philip Paniamogan had 14 points for Hog’s Breath, which shot 50 percent from the field and connected on 13 baskets from long distance.

Alexander Austria and Jonathan Belorio had 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Michael Juico paced the Couriers, who dropped to 1-3, with 20 points.

Rios, the Adamson slotman, also had four rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks while playing center.
