MANILA, Philippines- After an exchange of tweets, Jessica Sanchez has agreed to sing the national anthem for Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s upcoming welterweight fight against Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios on November 24 at the Venetian in Macau.
Pacquiao took to Twitter Tuesday morning asking the 2012 American Idol runner-up if she “would do me the honor of singing the national anthems before our fight?”
Sanchez later tweeted back her approval, “Yes, I am honored!”
The Filipino-Mexican singer also sang for Pacquiao’s previous fight against WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, the fight the Filipino boxer in a startling decision.
