‘Bakbakan’ at Roligon today

ROLIGON Mega Cockpit will host today’s “NFGB National Bakbakan 11-Stag Derby, ” the second national elimination in Metro Manila.

Qualifiers from Pasay City Cockpit, Roligon and Pasig Square Garden (Nov. 28)  must join the semifinals on Dec. 1 at PCC, according to National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (NFGB) executive director Arnel Anonuevo.

Roligon is now under the new management of Ultimate Fighting Cock Champions (UFCC) headed by Charlie “Atong” Ang and Gerry Ramos.

Provincial semifinalists will also compete today at Malvar Cockpit in Batangas and Antipolo Coliseum in Rizal.

Meanwhile, the second batch of competitors will see action at Sta. Monica Cockpit Novaliches on Nov. 25, 30 and Dec. 2.
As of yesterday, 20 participants have  garnered seven wins each to qualify to the grand finals on Dec. 16 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
