Pacquiao, Rios enter ring for ‘Clash in Cotai’

MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios have entered the ring for their WBO International Welterweight fight dubbed “Clash in Cotai” Sunday in Macau.

Pacquiao, who was draped in a red and blue robe, was welcomed with “Manny! Manny!” chants as he walked towards the ring alongside his crew led by trainer Freddie Roach. Katy Pery’s hit song Roar was blaring in the background.

Rios, meanwhile, entered wearing a red, green and white jacket with Team Rios at the back.

American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez, who is of Filipino and Mexican descent, sang the national anthems of both the Philippines and the United States beautifully.
