This year’s series of camps on running, biking, and swimming, presented by MultiSport Philippines and Hinge Inquirer Publications, culminated in the final session, the Run leg, last Saturday morning, Nov. 23, at the Bonifacio High Street grounds. It was the first-ever leg that is free and open to all – and most importantly, friendly and useful to runners of all skill levels!
Heading the event was Coach Noel Salvador, former member of the national triathlon team and current coach of the Isuzu D-Max Multisport Team and the De La Salle Zobel triathlon team, who shared important knowledge all runners should know before they hit the pavement. He also led a 5km run around Bonifacio High Street afterwards.
Also at the event were lectures on proper hydration and nutrition, heart rate monitoring, and shoe profiling, presented by the event sponsors Gatorade, L TIMESTUDIO, Mueller, and Asics, all for the information of runners and running enthusiasts.
