THE SHAKEY’S All-Star Game will be shown starting at 9:30 a.m. today on GMA News TV Channel 11 with the two-hour special to feature the country’s most popular volley players and some GMA 7 talents.
The All Star Game served as the highlight of the two-day Shakey’s V-League All Star Weekend powered by Smart, which also included a volley clinic and skills competitions among campers and league’s stars.
The event, sponsored by Shakey’s and Smart and organized by Sports Vision, also raised P200,000 for victims of Supertyphoon “Yolanda” coursed through the Kapuso Foundation of GMA 7.
Dindin Santiago and Jovelyn Gonzaga, who split the MVP honors in the country’s premier women’s volley league this season, headline Team Smart along with Maru Banaticla and Jamenea Ferrer.
