Uno HS eyes finals; GCC, St. Jude in vital tiff

UNO HIGH School shoots for the first final berth today when it battles MGC-New Life Christian Academy, even as Grace Christian College tries to boost its own finals drive in the 1st Philippine Ching Yuen Athletic Association (PCYAA) Basketball Championships at Uno HS gym.

Coming off an 81-51 drubbing of Philippine Cultural College last Wednesday, the Uneans are again tipped to win over the MGC-New Life Christian cagers when they clash at 2:30 p.m.

The Uneans are out to extend their winning run to eight games in the tournament sponsored by Boysen, Valentino Watches, Sony Xperia, Duralite Sandals, and Nougat Peanut Bar.

MGC-New Life Christian Academy is out of the running with a 1-6 mark.

Meantime, Grace Christian College needs to beat St. Jude at 10:30 a.m. to stay in title contention. GCC is tied with St. Peter for third to fourth places with

3-3 cards, while St. Jude holds solo second with a 5-2 mark. St. Peter  collides with PCC at 1 p.m.
