MANILA, Philippines—Adamson University extended its improbable streak to 36 games after an 8-0 shutout of University of the East in the UAAP Season 76 softball tournament Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Diamond.

The Lady Falcons, eyeing a fourth consecutive championship, haven’t lost since absorbing a 2-8 defeat to University of Santo Tomas dating back to February 13, 2010.

Meanwhile, National University and De La Salle also hacked out wins.

The Lady Bulldogs came from behind to turn back University of the Philippines, 8-3, while the Lady Archers also rallied to beat Ateneo, 11-6.

NU shook off its early struggles before finding its rhythm in the last four innings – scoring five runs to foil UP’s upset bid.

La Salle trailed by four runs in the first two innings before battling back to win.
