Hog’s Breath targets 8th straight win
Hog’s Breath Cafe hopes to make the most out of its speedy game as it tries to stay unbeaten when it battles Jumbo Plastic in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup today at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The Razorbacks shoot for an eighth straight victory in the 4 p.m. match against the Giants, who are gunning for a sixth win to stay in the top four.
“Hopefully we’ll be able to compensate for our lack of size with our quickness and strong rebounding,” said Razorbacks coach Caloy Garcia.

Cafe France and Wangs Basketball, both in the middle of the pack, try to boost their own bids at 2 p.m.
Unexpected leader
Article continues after this advertisementThe Razorbacks, this conference’s unexpected leader, try to close in on one of two outright semifinal berths behind the outstanding games of Philip Paniamogan and Kevin Racal.
But the Giants look to rebound from a disappointing 78-82 loss to the Rising Suns last Monday after virtually leading all the way.
Turnovers
“We just have to take care of the ball and limit our turnovers,” said Giants deputy Joel Dualan. “We committed 25 turnovers against Cagayan and that explains why we lost.”
The Razorbacks are coming off an 86-72 ripping of Derulo Accelero where Paniamogan and Racal combined for 44 points.
