Philippines thrashes Myanmar in SEA Games hoops
MANILA, Philippines—Sinag Pilipinas thrashed Myanmar, 118-43, Thursday for its third win in the 27th Southeast Asian Games at Zayar Thiri Stadium in Myanmar.
After the Filipinos’ spotty win over Singapore last Monday, their game has picked up and they’re looking more dominant than ever as they gun for a gold medal repeat.
Article continues after this advertisementRonald Pascual led Sinag Pilipinas with 20 points, Mac Belo, the most consistent player in the roster, added 17 points while Kevin Ferrer chipped in 13.
Skipper Kevin Alas suited up for the first time after suffering an ankle sprain and collected five points for the Philippines.
