SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio point guard Tony Parker will miss the Spurs’ next two NBA games with a right shin contusion.
The Spurs said Tuesday that Parker would be sidelined for Wednesday’s game at Phoenix and Thursday’s at Golden State.
“Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio, at which point his status for Saturday night’s Spurs-Thunder game will be determined,” the team said in a statement.
Parker was hurt late in the third quarter of Monday’s loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles.
He hobbled off the court after appearing to bang his leg against another player’s knee.
Parker finished with eight points and six assists in 26 minutes.
The French star is averaging 17.5 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 23 games this season.
