Lady Eagles cruise to third straight win in UAAP volleyball
MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo cruised to its third straight win, dumping a listless University of the East, 25-11, 25-15, 25-17, Wednesday in the last play date of the year in the UAAP season 76 women’s volleyball tournament.
The Lady Eagles are peaking early in the tournament as they improve to 3-1, but Thai mentor Anusorn Bundit wants his players to sustain this winning form even after the holiday-break.

Star Alyssa Valdez continued her dominance with 21 points, including three blocks and five service aces, leading the Lady Eagles.
Help was aplenty for Valdez, though, as Amy Ahomiro and rookie Ana Gopico churned out nine points apiece.
