Big Chill bolsters bid with win over Wangs Basketball in PBA D-League
MANILA, Philippines — Big Chill wrapped up 2013 with a 75-66 win over Wangs Basketball on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena and a stellar 10-1 record in the 2013 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup.
The Superchargers needed time but it nonetheless got the job done, leaning on a strong 11-2 run bridging the third and fourth quarters to snatch the lead back for good from a 51-50 deficit.

Playing for the fourth time in nine days before a month-long break, the exhausted Big Chill still managed a killer finishing kick.
A key three-point play by stocky guard Quinton Heruela with 1:17 to go pushed the lead to nine points and virtually sealed the victory.

Reil Cervantes led the Superchargers with 15 points and nine rebounds, Juneric Baloria added 13 points and Janus Lozada 10. Heruela only had five points but had a game-best 11 dimes.
The Couriers, meanwhile, dropped to 4-6 as they ran out of steam towards the latter part of the game after keeping in with the Superchargers for three quarters.
Michael Juico had 20 points, Macky Acosta added 13 for Wangs Basketball in a losing effort.
