PBA D-League: Banchero leads as Waves down M-Builders
MANILA, Philippines—Boracay Rum pulled away in the second half and blasted Zambales M-Builders, 83-66, Thursday in the 2013 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Chris Banchero led the way for the Waves with 18 points, Jeff Vierness added 14 points and Paolo Taha and Roider Cabrera chipped in 12 apiece.
After a trey from Mike Tolomia allowed M-Builders to inch within two, 39-41, the Waves went on a 10-2 run capped by a bucket by Banchero and were never threatened from there.

The M-Builders, who have been on a downward spiral after a strong start, slid to 2-8 as Tolomia didn’t get enough help from the supporting cast.
Tolomi, the Far Eastern University standout, led with 20 points while gunner Jett Vidal added 10 for Zambales.
