Scorching the back nine with three of their five birdies, AR Ramos and Miggy Yee zoomed to a four-stroke lead yesterday over two teams going to the final 18 holes of the NGAP’s National Doubles Championship presented by the MVP Sports Foundation at Eastridge.

Ramos and Yee played the final nine holes flawlessly in firing a 3-under 69 in the best-ball format for a 146 total heading into the individual aggregate play of the event also backed by Pancake House, Golf Depot and Pacsports as part of the PLDT Group Amateur Tour.

Jonar Austria-GJ Katigbak and Lorenzo brothers Santi and Basti were tied at 150 after returning a 71 and 72, respectively, even as the Jed Dy-Ryan Monsalve tandem clung to the Group II lead despite an 81.
