The 2013-14 cockfighting season starts with a bang today with the 110K Big Event 7-Cock Derby, backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, at Pasay City Cockpit.
Derby host Rep. Joseph Panganiban, the 2012 World Slasher Cup champ, will be assisted by Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano.
Proceeds of the derby will go to the medical mission of the Anac–IP party-list.
Among the participants are Max Roxas of Tarlac, Dori Du of Davao, cockfight “Idol” and Rep. Patrick Antonio, LB Candelaria, Mayor Boyet Joson, Rodolfo Pineda, Romy Lim, Rep. Peter Unabia, Ed Miranda, Arman Santos and Vice Gov. Odie Fausto.
Meanwhile, PCC will stage three more big cockfest this month: “Para Sa Masa” 4-Cock Derby on Dec. 23, RV Ibaan Annual 4-Cock Derby (Dec. 27) and Vavaboom 5-Cock Derby (Dec. 29).
