Ateneo lady tossers post 3rd straight win

Ateneo gained a piece of second place while Adamson  rediscovered its winning ways in UAAP Season 76 women’s volleyball at Filoil Flying Arena on Wednesday.

The Lady Eagles coasted to their third straight win with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-17 thumping of University of the East, while the Lady Falcons capitalized on University of Santo Tomas’ 28 errors for a 25-21, 25-18, 25-18 triumph.

Ateneo  joined idle National U at 3-1 to trail defending champion De La Salle (4-0).

Adamson evened its record to 2-2 to tie its victim and Far Eastern U at fourth spot.

In men’s play, Mark Gil Alfafara scored a season-high 32 points as UST survived De La Salle, 25-21, 25-18, 20-25, 17-25, 15-6, for its second straight win in men’s play.
