EVERYTHING is set for the 2013 Philracom Juvenile Championship today at Metro Turf in Malvar, Batangas.
Fourteen tough and exciting 2-year-old colts and fillies are officially entered in the P2.5-million race sponsored by the Philippine Racing Commission. The race is the culminating event in the search for the best juveniles in the land.
The champion in the 1,600-meter-race will get P1.5 million, the runner-up P562,500 and fourth placers P312,500 and P125,000, respectively.
The breeder of the winning horse also gets a P75,000 bonus.
“This 2013 Philracom Juvenile Championship is the biggest stakes event to end the year with a bang,” said Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. senior vice president Rudy Prado.
Prado said that the event will be spiced up by 12 trophy races.
