PCC 5-cock derby up
AFTER staging 130 fights last Friday, big time cockfighting resumes today at Pasay City Cockpit via the “Vavaboom 5-Cock Derby.”
The Facs Vavaboom group, solo champion of “Pasay Big Fights 6–Stag Derby” last month, will host the Sagupaan Complexor-backed event.
Participants include Rep. Patrick Antonio, Gerry Ramos and Atong Ang of UFCC, Alan Siaco, LB Candelaria, Lito Roque, Arman Santos, Dyland Castillo, Tady Palma, Joseph Marigondon, Chiqui Batac and Chris de Jesus.
PCC’s first event next month, the annual “Bentahan.com 4–Cock Derby” on Jan. 3 will have P400,000 in guaranteed prizes.
A total of 58 entries are already confirmed as of yesterday, assuring more than 100 fights.
Other upcoming cockfests at PCC are “Three Kings 4–Cock Derby” on Jan. 6 and “Mommy Chiqui 4–Cock Derby” on Jan. 10. For inquiries, call Cheche or Jennie at 8431890, 8431746 and 8166750.
