MANILA, Philippines—After visiting the typhoon-stricken Tacloban last November, PBA stars trooped to Bogo City in Cebu Friday to visit other survivors of “Yolanda.”

Petron Blaze stars Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot, Barako Bull’s Willie Miller and Globalport’s Sol Mercado led the league’s delegation to Cebu, joining PBA commissioner Chito Salud and chairman Mon Segismundo.

The PBA gave away basketball boards, goals and balls on top of relief packages, and put smiles on the faces of the people of Bogo, which was among those hardest-hit towns by the supertyphoon.

Actress Shaina Magdayao, a Bogo native, also tagged along with the PBA delegation in the trip.

Last November, Mark Caguioa, Jimmy Alapag and Asi Taulava, LA Tenorio and Danny Seigle helped in the PBA’s relief operations in Tacloban City.

“This is our way of showing support to our brothers who were devastated by Yolanda. And the PBA is on it for a long term, not just one time,” said Salud.
