UFCC derby finals Saturday
MANILA, Philippines — The final round of the first leg of Ultimate Fighting Cock Champions (UFCC) 7-Cock Derby series gets going Saturday at Roligon Mega Cockpit.
Among the qualifiers from Thursday’s 3-cock eliminations are the “AAO” entry of Gerry Ramos, “Jan Oliver” of Jerry Castro and Nestor Vendivil, “NCA International Jan. 14” of former Rizal Gov. Ito Ynares, “Ah Luck” of Willard Ty, “MBJ” of Mayor Boyet Joson, and “AA Cobra” of Charlie “Atong” Ang;
“Black Is Black” of Ramon Mancenares, “Asley GQ” of Procis Aquino, “Blue Blade JDLS RJM” of Sonny Lagon and Joey delos Santos, “Balik-Mulawin” of Mayor Rudy Albano and “Pasay Big Event Jan. 31” of Rep. Patrick Antonio.
The highest pointer after the 10-leg series will win the UFCC Cocker of the Year award.
The 7-cock second leg sizzles on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1.
Roligon’s 24th Anniversary 5-Cock Derby on Feb. 4 dangles a guaranteed prize of P2.5 million. Entry fee is P11,000.
