MANILA, Philippines — PBA Commissioner Chito Salud is set to review Friday night’s incident involving Meralco Bolts’ Jared Dillinger and Alaska Aces’ Calvin Abueva.

Dillinger and Abueva got tangled up at the baseline early in the fourth quarter of the Bolts’ heated 74-65 win over the Aces and both were given a technical foul.

“I will review the incident in my office first thing on Monday and make a determination as to the sufficiency of the technical foul against both players for their actuations,” Salud said in a statement.

“If the penalties given on the court are found to be proportionate to the acts in question, then I will consider the matter closed. Otherwise, I will invite the players involved to hear their side and thereafter mete out the commensurate sanctions.”

Dillinger had said he has “no hard feelings” towards the 2013 Rookie of the Year Abueva and that the incident was just part of basketball.
