Sparks put four-match win streak on line, face Stallion

MANILA, Philippines — Loyola Meralco seeks to extend its United Football League winning run to five matches when it clashes with defending champion Stallion at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.

Alone on top with 12 points from four games, the Sparks seek to end a frustrating run against Stallion, which beat them twice on its way to the crown last season.

But the Sparks, with striker Phil Younghusband making an impact, are in inspired form with 16 goals from first four matches.

Stallion barged into the win column at the expense of Kaya, 1-0, last week. The win gave Stallion just its fourth point.
