Corteza leads RP world pool series charge

Current WPA No. 2 Lee Vann Corteza will spearhead a 10-man Filipino contingent in the 2010 Guinness World Series of Pool-10 Ball Challenge starting tomorrow at the Mall Tama Anggrek in Jakarta.

Former world 9-ball champions Ronato Alcano and Alex Pagulayan, former world No. 1 Dennis Orcollo, Antonio Lining, Antonio Gabica, Victor Arpilleda, Carlo Biado, Jundel Mazon and Jeffrey De Luna are also in the 54-man international field that will get going in the double elimination preliminaries.

The foreign field includes current world No. 1 Mika Immomen of Finland. Telecast will be carried live on Star Sports from July 30 to Aug. 1.
