Junior cagers seek NBTC All-Star slots

MANILA, Philippines — Some 60 high school seniors from all over the country have been invited to the tryouts for the 2014 Seaoil NBTC HS All-Star Game.

Among those attending the tryouts set Feb. 15 and 16 at San Beda Manila are UST’s Isaiah Dandan; Ateneo’s Thirdy Ravena, Aaron Black and Jaime Escaler; St. Stephen’s Ivan Ong and Tyrone Pierce Chan; and Xavier’s Jarell Lim and Isaac Go.

From among invitees, 30 will be chosen for the All-Star game on March 9 at Ynares Arena in Pasig.  It will be televised on Basketball TV.

Presented by Seaoil and backed by the MVP Sports Foundation,  the NBTC League National High School Finals set March 6 to 9 is the official grassroots program of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.
