Millet rules Petron drag racing anew

MANILA, Philippines — Defending Expert champion Arvin Millet bagged a second straight win in the 2014 Petronas Philippine Drag Racing Championship Southern Series held recently at Batangas Racing Circuit.

The 20-year-old Millet clocked 13.05 seconds in the final run, 0.921 seconds quicker than Paul Henderson Perez (13.921).

Millet will seek a third victory when action resumes today with the second leg of the 2014 Petronas PDRC Northern Series at Clark International Speedway. The race will coincide with the first Clark International Motorshow at Clark Development Corporation parade grounds.

Other winners were Sherwin Jay Esguerra (Sportsman) and Malvin Alcantara (Hotstreet).
