Princess Superal is queen of KL Open by 13
MANILA, Philippines — Southeast Asian Games champ Princess Superal birdied three of the first five holes on the way to a sparkling four-under 68 Thursday and put away the Kuala Lumpur Amateur Open crown by 13 shots at Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia in Bukit Kiara.
Three strokes clear of the field overnight after a pair of 71s in the first two rounds of the 54-hole event, Superal widened the buffer with her fourth bird of the day on No. 9.
The ICTSI-sponsored 17-year-old triumphed pulling away with a 210 total, besting Singaporean Koh Sock Hwee, who carded a 72 for 223 in a tie with Nur Durriyah Damian, the veteran Malaysian who ballooned to a 78.

“She was simply flawless, so focused,” said Team ICTSI coach Bong Lopez.
Superal’s teammate Bernice Olivarez-Ilas closed with a 78 and settled for fourth at 227 while Sam Martirez finished 16th after an 84 for 238 and Sofia Chabon had an 81 for 240.
