MANILA, Philippines—It wasn’t the first time head coach Yeng Guiao and his team had attempted a walkout during the PBA playoffs.

Guiao and Elasto Painters left the court during the second quarter of Game 6 of their PBA Philippine Cup Finals series against the San Mig Coffee Mixers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday night.

In 2006, Guiao and his Red Bull squad also stormed out against San Miguel Beer in Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

Red Bull and Rain or Shine both decided to return back on the court but two other teams didn’t.

Añejo and Talk ‘N Text went on a total walkout in 1990 and 2010, respectively.

Añejo walked off the court in the second quarter of Game 6 of the First Conference against Formula Shell, which was already up, 62-47, at that time.

The Tropang Texters, under head coach Chot Reyes, on the other hand, marched out of the court in Game 4 of their PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals series with the Ginebra Gin Kings.
